Camino t -1

We left Verwood at half past midnight and travelled through the night to Gatwick Airport where we flew to Porto at 7am. We arrived at 9.30 very, very sleepy. Fortunately getting around Portugal has so far been a doddle compared with some of the places we found ourselves in Asia. Most people speak English, and the public transport is fantastic. And the language being somewhere between French and Latin can be guessed at in reading signs. Very different from Vietnamese! Tonight we had a gentle wander around the architecturally rich medieval part of the city. Tomorrow we go to the cathedral to get our pilgrim passes stamped and begin the Camino! For now we are trying not to fall asleep while we eat supper!
